Invited Talks of Prof. M. Suhail Zubairy on Fundamentals of Quantum Mechanics
The Center for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) and the Department of Physics & Applied Mathematics, organized two talks of Dr. Muhammad Suhail Zubairy (HI, SI, FPAS) on 04-05, January, 2023 at Inam-ur-Rahman auditorium at Pakistan Institute of Engineering & Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad. Dr. Zubairy is a University Distinguished Professor as of 2014 in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the Texas A&M University and is the inaugural holder of the Munnerlyn-Heep Chair in Quantum Optics. His research interests include quantum optics and laser physics. He is the author of three books on Quantum Optics and Quantum Computing. He has received many national and international awards and honors.
Prof. Zubairy talked about the “Mysteries of quantum mechanics” and “Single universe or multiple universes?” The talks were attended by more than 200 students, researchers and faculty members from PIEAS and various universities of Islamabad.
